THE LION AT MALPAS

The Lion is a beautiful British pub located in the picturesque village of Malpas, it opened in summer 2020 and is newly designed with a modernistic and approachable style. There are several rooms offering something different for drinkers and diners, from the light and airy Orangery, perfect for a sophisticated meal, to well-decorated rooms with TVs for catching up on the racing and drinking with friends.

The kitchen uses only the finest local ingredients with meals prepared to reflect the seasons alongside the pub classics one would expect to see. The menus are updated regularly to showcase the fresh ingredients and can be found on The Lion’s website, each cooked in a variety of ways including on a state-of-the-art Josper oven, using Cheshire coals to produce unique and beautiful smoky flavours.
